I live to tell the stories of the world’s rivers and share the beauty and importance of these precious environments with others.

ONGOING PROJECT
The Rappahannock from Source to Sea
Supported by non-profit Rivers for Change and in partnership with Friends of the Rappahannock, this source-to-sea journey down Virginia’s longest free-flowing river will document its beauty and the threats that it faces.
Over the past five years, I’ve traveled 2,500 miles down the world’s rivers.
By telling their stories through science, media, and education, I hope to inspire others to understand, protect, and celebrate these beautiful and critical ecosystems.
